Think of a lazy cold afternoon.What would you do, if you have nothing else to do?A nice nap in your cozy bed?Or may be read a nice book?Well these simple pleasures are denied for you, if you have a kid who is 3 year old.( must say ....not always)

First thing mothers  try to do in the afternoon, is try to put their kids to sleep for sometime so that they can have few peaceful time for themselves;)

Yesterday i ventured in to the task of puting my son to sleep."mommy can you read me a story, I am feeling bored and not sleepy" the little one said.hmm I read one story then two, then three, then four, then five.And i said no more stories after this while reading the sixth story book.When i was done with that book, he wanted to listen to all the stories again.He got that done too.

"Mommy i want to take bubble bath, i am not at all sleepy." he  got up from bed and ran in to the bath room.My "not now" probably no one heard ;0.I got greedy now and thought, i could read the book while he is taking bath.so got everything ready and asked him to hop in to the tub.He enjoyed his pretend swimming, splashing and I enjoyed watching it so much that i totally forgot about the book.

"Can I eat some Fritos?"Well he always has a way to get the things done in his way so, while he was going crunch crunch crunch , I opened a book and started to read.

When I began reading, bounce! bounce! bounce! my kid came and whaaaam!!!, he banged his ball against my book and said "ooops sorry mommy".Would you feel like shouting at that innocent face which says sorry.Naaaah ...He went out jumping and bouncing.

I again opened the book , before I had finished reading few sentences from the book, I heard Bang Bang Bang!!!!.My little preschooler was showing his talent in music by beating drums.I ran out and said "Quiet, your baby sister is sleeping, no loud noises ".He said "Mommy i am practicing drumming".Phew ... I sneaked out of his room, telling him to keep the noise down.

I went in and cuddled myself in a cozy blanket, with the book that i had been trying to read."Mommy can i do some coloring? Will you give me crayons and coloring pages?Huh ...He merrily started coloring with the crayons ."Mommy can you give me scissor i want to cut this picture" I gave him and sat beside him till he was done with cutting job.

"Pee pee I want to pee. i want yooooou to come today.I get scared there.I am not a brave boy anymore " He said it all, so I followed him to toilet.Halloween season do create scare among preschoolers;)

I want to blow bubbles.This time I said " enough you have to sleep now".Mommy people sleep when it is dark.Look outside its bright outside.And I am not sleepy.I want to blow bubbles.

I gave him a cup and a straw he started blowing bubbles happily.I kept the book back in the book shelf and took one more cup of soapy water and started blowing bubbles with him.Hmm that was fun after all ;)
