By the time your baby turns one year old, you already would have lived thousand heart stopping moments. Changes that happen by the time the baby starts walking are very very very dramatic.

Before the baby was born you couldnt wait to see it cuddle it, kiss it luv it and what not?But when this little animal first comes in to this word initially few days it  sleeps a lot, sucks a lot, yawns and cries a lot, wets a lot, soils a ooooooooooot. And creats chaos with your sleep cycle.Trust me you are absolutey normal if you feel once in a while, why you had to have the baby in the first place.Take heart its only temporary.Infants have suckinga and cuddling needs.The baby initially would need breast milk or formula milk with iron.

By the time baby is 3 months old bath time are suddenly fun.Never leave your baby alone.You will see now baby craves comapany and you are tied up to it .You can sing to her and talk to her.By four months she turns to your voice, she laughs and does many more.Give yourself a pat on the back and wonder at your marvellous creation as you go through.


By six month she can scoot, bounce and recognise strangers. Some may start teething and they would be irritable most of the time.Trust me its absolutely sane if you feel terrible and awful when your attempt to console the baby makes it more fussy.Imagine a white cloud passing by chanting "temporary phase".


When your baby is 6-7 months old she bounces and sings and plays with rattles, spoons, small pans and pots.She is more inquisitive now.Love your little Sherlock Homes. Dont shout at her when she finds that little coin and puts in the mouth.From this time onwards considerable amount of your  time will be spent in keeping all toxic stuff, smal coins and medicine out of reach of your baby.You thought that toddler's mommy next door is cleanliness freak!!!

Huh..... nine months sounds quiet a lot right?By 9 months your baby can repeat sounds you make, wave bye bye, understand table is high, become happy and sad.The diet is quiet advanced.Sometime while eating baby make choke.Be ready to have stains of food on your cloth and face.Yeah you feel rotten when that most pretty dress you ever gets spoilt  one of these days. Relax take a deeeeeeeep breath.

When your little bundle of joy is almost one year old, she can play pat a cake and peek a boo, stacke the bocks, container and stuff to pick up and put back all by herself. And do expect to hear daddy or mommy by now.Most of the babies start walinkg. Dont forget to keep your video camera ready to capture her first steps.Thank your parents for brining you in to this world and realise truly what all they have gone through.

Well the jouney till now was bumpy and joyous, what lies ahead is still more adventurous.The journey has just begun ................ jouney of terrible two's and terrific three's and fabulous fours;)
