Ingredients
2 cups sprouted horse gram
1/2 cup grated cconut
1tsp mustard seeds
1/4 tsp asafoetida(hing)
1tsp udau dal
3 redchillies broken in to pieces
2 tsp jaggery/brown sugar
1 tsp oil
Cooking
1)In a cooker cook sprouted horse gram for 15 minutes or till the horse gram is well cooked.
2)In a pan heat oil. Add mustard seeds when they crackle add udad dal when it starts turning lightly brown add asafoetida and red chillies.
3)Add cooked sprouted horsegram and salt and jaggery. Continue cooking for 5 minutes.
4)Serve hot garnished with freshly grated coconut.
